Lending Disclosures & Consumer Compliance
Last updated: September 28, 2026
1. Non-Lender Operator Notice
Guides.loanimo.com and Loanimo are not direct lenders, debt brokers, or loan agents. We do not make credit decisions, issue loan approvals, or fund consumer credit transactions. Loanimo operates solely as an advertising and lead-generation connection platform that connects consumers seeking credit with participating independent lenders, financial institutions, and lending networks.
Submitting a request through Loanimo does not guarantee that you will receive an offer, be approved for a loan, or receive the requested loan amount or interest rate. Loan terms are determined solely by participating lenders according to their proprietary underwriting criteria.
2. Annual Percentage Rate (APR) Disclosures
In accordance with the federal Truth in Lending Act (TILA), 15 U.S.C. § 1601 et seq., lenders are required to state the Annual Percentage Rate (APR) and all associated finance charges before entering into a credit contract with a consumer.
Lenders within our participating network offer personal installment loans with APRs ranging from 5.99% up to 35.99%. Loan repayment durations typically range from 61 days to 72 months (6 years). Your actual APR will depend on various factors, including credit score, credit history, verifiable income, debt-to-income (DTI) ratio, state usury regulations, and loan principal requested.
Representative Example of Credit Terms
The following example illustrates typical repayment economics for an installment loan:
Total amount repaid over 36 months would equal $6,507.36, representing $1,507.36 in total finance charges.
3. Credit Inquiries and Score Impacts
Submitting a connection request through Loanimo utilizes a soft credit inquiry, which allows participating lenders to review your pre-eligibility without impacting your FICO or VantageScore credit ratings. However, if you choose to proceed with a specific lender's formal offer, that lender will typically conduct a hard credit inquiry with one or more national credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, or TransUnion), which may have a minor, temporary impact on your credit score.
4. Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA)
The Equal Credit Opportunity Act prohibits creditors from discriminating against credit applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age (provided the applicant has the capacity to contract), because all or part of the applicant’s income derives from any public assistance program, or because the applicant has in good faith exercised any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act.
5. State Exclusions Notice
Due to state-specific statutory frameworks and licensing limits, the Loanimo service is not available to residents of the following states: Arkansas, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New York, Montana, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, Indiana, and Minnesota. Residents of these states may not submit loan connection inquiries.
